Today is Charles Darwin’s 200th birthday, as well as the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species.

While this day is excited for those of us who admire Darwin for his brilliant scientific achievements, it is also a day that should be a catalyst for us to re-double our efforts in the fabricated “Evolution vs. creation” debate.

The theory of evolution qualifies as a scientific fact, by every standard in the scientists toolbox (the scientific method). But sadly, we live in a world where there are people that are either intentionally deceiving the public to promote their ideology (by the why, science is not an ideology, it’s the method  used to uncover the truth about our natural world and cosmos), or they are confidently ignorant. Because, every single objection to evolutionary theory has been easily refuted by the consensus of the scientific community.

The link attached to this picture will send you to the Scientific American page dedicated to the commemoration of Darwin’s birthday and Origins anniversary.

Thank you Darwin, for your role in the exponential advancement of science!

Darwin gave mankind one of the greatest examples of a successful scientific hypothesis, and possibly the best example of  the fulfillment of predictions in a scientific hypothesis.

Nature has released a great podcast for the special occasion

There will be more Darwin Day celebration to come…..

I am listening to CNN right now. A woman just called in to say that “because God is the truth, Evolution is not the truth.” I wonder if my life would be easier or harder if I just accepted things without any question at all. You would hope that people at the very least could have some sort of logical reasoning behind their beliefs, but alas I guess some people just can’t think that way. They deny the very thing that does make them so very different from animals at this moment, and ultimately liken themselves to animals more than they realize. Thought Process.

On this day, there was an expedition to the Galapagos Islands 2009 by creationist to prove Darwin wrong. It was accomplished. I find your world view pagan and very interesting. Darwin gave mankind one of the largest battles in the world of knowledge. The creationists returned from their expedition and created a DVD that you need to see. “The Mysterious Island’, tells you why we creationists believe what we do about God and creation and why we don’t believe in Darwin or his ‘brilliant’ discoveries.
