liposomeOnce again, Science gives us remedies for our suffering. A new study was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, showed that a new anesthetic can safely numb body parts for more than a week. The research was done on rats, but the findings suggest that it’s use in humans may be inevitable. “Kohane’s team took a potent numbing agent called saxitoxin and packaged it in tiny fat droplets called liposomes, which slowly leak the chemicals over time. ” (To read more click the image above.)
